From June 12 to 13, 2025, the 7th International Conference on Creative Management, hosted by the Technical Innovation and Entrepreneurship Branch of China Association for Technology Economics, grandly opened at the Cultural Center of Macau City University. The conference aims to bring together scholars, entrepreneurs, and industry leaders in the field of global creative management to jointly explore strategic innovation, interdisciplinary integration, and practical paths in the context of the creative economy era, assisting the global creative industry in achieving sustainable development. Meanwhile, the conference also focuses on the profound impact of artificial intelligence (AI) technological advancements on the cultural industry, as well as the response strategies of academia and industry. At the opening ceremony, guests such as Wan Sucheng, Director of the Propaganda and Culture Department of the Liaison Office, Zhang Zuowen, Director of the Policy Research Institute and Regional Development Bureau, Liu Jun, President of the University of Macau, Liang Shusen, Member of the 13th National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference and Vice President of the China Overseas Chinese Federation, and Hu Zujie, Member of the Legislative Council and Member of the Cultural Heritage Committee, attended and delivered speeches.

This grand event attracted more than 100 experts, scholars, and industry elites from world-renowned universities and research institutions such as University College London, City University of Hong Kong, Tsinghua University, Sichuan University, and the International Vocational Core Competency Committee, who gathered in Haojiang. At the opening ceremony of the conference, participants unanimously agreed that against the backdrop of the accelerating evolution of the global economic landscape and the rapid advancement of scientific and technological revolutions, improving the decision-making capabilities and sustainable development level of the creative industry is more critical than ever before.

Xu Xiangyue, Director of the China Office of the International Vocational Core Competency Committee and Member of the Academic Committee of the Association for Employment of University Graduates, was invited to attend the conference and deliver a keynote speech. Titled *Innovation and Entrepreneurship: Decision-Making in Uncertain Situations*, his speech brought an inspiring intellectual feast to the participants.

Director Xu Xiangyue's report was ingeniously designed, opening with the acute problems faced by innovation and entrepreneurship decision-making in real-world situations, quickly immersing the audience in the highly uncertain field often encountered by entrepreneurs. Through carefully designed interactive sessions, he guided the participants to "personally experience" decision-making pressure, profoundly revealing the challenges and key points of making critical choices in a complex and changing environment. The core of the report focused on the deep-seated obstacles affecting decision-making quality. Xu Xiangyue systematically expounded on how three key factors—cognitive and belief biases (such as overconfidence, anchoring effect), environmental and situational pressures (such as time constraints, information ambiguity, resource constraints), and emotional and affective mismatches (such as anxiety, fear, group pressure)—distort the decision-making process and hinder the generation of optimal choices. His analysis was profound yet accessible, integrating cutting-edge theories from psychology, behavioral economics, and organizational management, aiming to guide the audience to construct an "immersive" decision-making thinking mode, thereby deeply recognizing the extreme importance of scientific and rational decision-making for individuals, organizations, and even nations to seize opportunities, avoid risks, and achieve long-term development. Director Xu Xiangyue's speech was logically rigorous, rich in vivid cases, and profound in insights, with a warm on-site atmosphere, triggering strong resonance and in-depth thinking among the participants.

In addition to keynote speeches and special discussions, the conference also featured numerous highlights. The "Exhibition of Skills and Masterpieces by 'National Masters' and 'Intangible Cultural Heritage' Inheritors," carefully planned by the Court Art Professional Committee of the Chinese Arts and Crafts Society, made a stunning debut. The exhibition concentrated on displaying the exquisite craftsmanship and ingenious works of many national arts and crafts masters and representative inheritors of intangible cultural heritage, providing valuable opportunities for the participating guests to appreciate the profound heritage and innovative vitality of China's excellent traditional culture, vividly interpreting the unique value of traditional craftsmanship in the contemporary creative industry and the path of inheritance and innovation.Co-hosted by Macau City University and multiple authoritative academic institutions, this two-day conference was generally expected by the attending experts that the insights and consensus formed at the conference would provide important intellectual support and practical guidance for promoting the global creative industry to seize opportunities, address challenges, and achieve high-quality and sustainable development in the wave of AI.It is reported that the 8th International Conference on Creative Management will be held at University College London in July 2026, with the theme focusing on the "Ethical Boundaries and Industrial Opportunities of Generative AI and Cultural Content Production."
